SAP IBP Consultant (m/f)
Content and Goals
alphachain Consulting GmbH carries out ambitious, successful supply-chain management projects. In this, we support our customers through the phases of devising and implementing solutions, to production startups, follow-up services and optimisation.
We advise large international companies as well as medium-sized enterprises. We are at the forefront of the SAP IBP revolution and are in the process of expanding our SAP IBP experts team. Consequently, we are looking for a SAP IBP Consultant (m/f) who can start as soon as possible.
Expectations and Assignments
Within the scope of national and international projects, you will be expected to develop solutions relating to all aspects of supply chain management processes. On the basis of SAP IBP, you design, implement and coordinate innovative solutions that integrate supply chain management into a company-wide business planning. Our work covers cross-location and inter-company processes as well as the rapid adjustment of supply chains to new market conditions. You will be expected to deliver your expertise and know-how at the service of our customers.
Your Profile
- Strong Supply Chain Management process background.
- University degree in the field of business administration, information management, (industrial) engineering or a natural science degree and similar professional experience.
- Hands on configuration knowledge of SAP IBP in at least one of the following modules: IBP for S&OP, IBP for Demand, IBP for Response and Supply, IBP for Inventory.
- Project experience in IBP with at least one full project cycle.
- Experience with CPI-DS for information flows from ECC/APO or 3rd party systems to IBP is a plus.
- Detailed knowledge of the creation and management of planning views via the IBP Excel Add-In.
- SAP Jam set up and configuration experience is a Plus.
- Professional experience with implementing SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) or any other SCM Solution is preferred.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Extensive client facing Consulting experience.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex matters.
- Competence in solving problems.
- You must be mobile and enjoy travelling.
- A good command of written and spoken English. German is a plus.

SAP SCM Production Planning Consultant (APO or S/4 PPDS) (m/f)

alphachain Consulting GmbH carries out ambitious, successful supply-chain management projects. In this, we support our customers through the phases of devising and implementing solutions, to production startups, follow-up services and optimisation.
We advise large international companies as well as medium-sized enterprises. Due to high demand, we are enlarging our SAP SCM team. Consequently, we are looking for a SAP SCM PP/DS Consultant (m/f) who can start as soon as possible.
Expectations and Assignments
Within the scope of national and international projects, you will be expected to develop solutions relating to all aspects of production planning and production. In co-operation with our customers, you will use SAP NetWeaver Technologies to design, implement and co-ordinate innovatory collaborative scenarios in co-operation with their customers and suppliers. Our work covers cross-location and inter-company processes as well as the rapid adjustment of supply chains to new market conditions. You will be expected to place your experience and know-how at the service of our customers.
Your Profile
- Four to five years of professional experience in the field of production planning using IT-based processes and MRP II and/or APS planning procedures. A good university degree in the field of business administration, information management, (industrial) engineering or a natural science degree and similar professional experience.
- At least three years of professional experience using the SAP's Advanced Planning and Optimisation (APO) and experience in projects with APO PP/DS or S/4 embedded PP/DS.
- A very good knowledge of IT (Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP], the internet, optimisation). A good knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA systems.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- The ability to communicate complex matters.
- Competence in solving problems.
- You must be mobile and enjoy travelling.
- A good command of written and spoken English. German is a plus.
